Bloggers Christmas Beauty Brawl; Day Six

Tuesday, December 06, 2016

Good Morning!
I hope you're having a lovely morning!

It is the sixth day of #Beautybrawl16, if you're interested in seeing what everyone is posting each day then you can use this hashtag on twitter and instagram to keep up to date!

I am so excited to be sharing with you the sixth product and for me, I chose to try out the Technic Brown Tamer in Medium. I was kindly sent this by Technic and if you know me, you'll know I do not use any products in my eyebrows but it is nice to check out what products are on the market just in case I ever change my mind about my brows! I however feel like they are full enough and dark enough without any product in them.
Why I Like It;
I like this product because the powder isn't too powdery! I recently tried out a similar product and the powder was so ridiculous, you couldn't apply it without it falling down your face, which is completely expected for a very cheap product. Although this is also very cheap, it doesn't have a smuch fall out!

How I Use It;
Apply the wax using the spoolie and brush through your eyebrows. Use the other end (soft angled brush) and apply on top of the wax evenly. Use a clean spoolie to brush through again to remove any excess.

The Results;
For me the results were definitely not amazing. The shade was completely wrong for my hair colour. Although it says "medium" it's a very light brown, quite orangey shade of brown. There was some fall out when I used this, but not too much and I also found the wax was far too dark, the powder hardly covered it.
Any Cons;
As mentioned above, the wax was far too dark. I feel like the wax should either be a lighter colour than the powder, or even translucent because you couldn't cover the shade of the wax using the lighter powder.

Final Thoughts;
I wouldn't say this is a product I would use if I decided to start using eyebrow products. The wax was far too dark for my hair colour, and the powder was far too light. I'm sure it would be perfect for someone with either dark brown hair (if you only use the wax and your own powder), or someone who has a very chestnut shade of brown hair. It's a great product however for anyone who is starting off with makeup and has a small budget!

Make sure to head over to Elaine's blog to see what she posted for the third day of the Bloggers Christmas Beauty Brawl!

This blog post features product/s which were sent to me for review purpose however all opinions are my own and completely honest

I'll see you soon
