Healthy Chocolate Milkshake

I hope you're having a fab day.

Something I am always on the hunt for is healthy alternatives to drinks and food which aren't that great for me and as a student it's always important to remain healthy too instead of resulting to all of the junk food just because it's "cheap". My absolutely love right now is smoothies; mango and banana, mixed fruit, banana and strawberry; the lot! I have a real sweet tooth and will use the healthiest options (most of the time) to get my craving of sweetness every single day.

I teamed up with Indigo Herbs to create a healthy recipe using their products and I am so excited to be sharing a healthy chocolate milkshake with you guys. I absolutely love a milkshake, McDonalds milkshakes have to be my absolute favourite; so thick, yummy and sweet. Everything you want in a milkshake. Although this doesn't taste like a McDonalds chocolate milkshake, it still gives you the thickness of one of their milkshakes with the use of frozen banana.
Want to make it yourself? Just follow the recipe below.

2 frozen bananas
1 tbsp Maca powder
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup Milk (you can use alternatives to cows milk)

2 tbsp Maple syrup

All you need to do for this recipe is simply wack everything into a blender; doesn't matter what type of food blender and simply mix until everything is thick and creamy with no lumps; it's really as that. You can add more milk if you prefer a runnier consistency too. It's so quick and easy, even if you're running late! Simply put all of the ingredients into the food blender (apart from the milk and the bananas) the night before, and all you need to do in the morning is add the frozen banana and milk!
