Finding The Reasons Why...

by - Friday, November 17, 2017

Good Morning.
I hope everyone has had a lovely week.

Something I have been speaking about recently on my twitter is how I've been feeling and what's been going on in my life. I've been trying to figure out the reasons why I feel like not doing anything all of the time. I'm one of those people who wakes up earlier than usual to get so many things done during the day. I used to spend days on end writing up blog post after blog post so I had a good few weeks of posts scheduled so I didn't have to worry. However, this year I have really struggled to do this; blog posts have been written the night before, on the day or even a couple of nights before. I haven't scheduled blog posts weeks in advance since last Christmas.

The things I usually love doing; walking my dogs, baking, going out for long walks, going shopping and even going to work; I haven't wanted to do, or I've dreaded doing. I'm feeling completely and utterly unmotivated and all I want to do is spend my days in my bedroom not really doing much.

I've constantly been looking for a reason why I've felt like this. I began to think it was something to do with feeling constantly tired and then I was trying to figure out why I'm always tired (I still have absolutely no idea either), and then I thought it was something to do with my depression and I am just going through a rough stage at the moment. Talking to people who I work with or even my friends, I've come to realise that maybe it's something to do with University. Since January all I have done is spend all of my spare time doing uni work (apart from the summer when I was working full time).

If I have a day off work, or a weekend off when I'm not seeing my boyfriend, I'm sat in my bedroom glued to my laptop doing uni work and that is simply all I do. Have a worked so hard on my uni work that I have drained absolutely everything out of me? I no longer want to do anything, I'm always feeling unhappy and drained.

People have suggested taking some time out from my uni work and doing things which I love and enjoy; getting out and about and having fun. This is something I'm going to do over the next week or so to see if this is my unsolved mystery, but who knows.

Posts may come back to normal within a week, however I'm not going to promise as I have no idea how things are going to turn out. But of course I will keep people updated on my twitter so make sure you're following me.

I'll see you soon
