Motivational Monday #30

Good Afternoon!
I hope you have had a lovely weekend.

I will always be one of those people who believes in everything happens for a reason; it's part of me and I don't think that will ever change. If someone comes into my life and leaves again, they came for a reason and they left for a reason; usually to show me right from wrong.

I think like this when it comes to mental health too, sometimes we have our down days so we can cherish the good days even more. It helps us to create a positive mental frame for each day as they come. As some of you may know I have been having pretty bad days for a good few weeks now; I haven't felt myself for a while. But I don't think it's because my mental health is trying to piss me off, I think it's happening for a reason and it's to bring a positive outlook afterwards, at least I hope so.

Friendship is an area of life I generally struggle with; I hate losing people and I struggle if I do. But after the past couple of months I've learnt that people are there for a reason whether they stay or not. If they stay, absolutely brilliant; they're a friend for life. But if they go then there's always going to be a reason why they do. It's an area I will always struggle with but as I grow, I'm slowly coming to terms with it a little bit more.

If you ever have down and blue days like myself, just always remember that there's a reason because of it. Usually shit happens so that we can face barriers and take on challenges to learn and grow. Right now, my challenge is to battle my mental health without taking myself down in the process. It's finding new strategies to deal with my mental health and get through it. We can all do this, it just takes a little bit of positivity and strength to succeed.
